Pink Floyd / Ron Geesin: ATOM HEART MOTHER

Forty years ago, David Bedford made an adaptation of the legendary Oldfield's composition for symphonic orchestra; in 1979, NASA used it as a background music to The Space Movie dedicated to the 10^th anniversary of the successful flight of Apollo 11 to the Moon (this project was also participated in by Prof. Zdeněk Kopal).

Even a few years older album Atom Heart Mother by Pink Floyd remains to these days one of the most progressive compositions combining classical music and rock.
