BAROCCO & CARMINA BURANA

The NTM Ostrava ballet company performs its most successful piece, which had its premiere on 15/1/2015. The evening is based on two ballet productions full of emotion. The first features the music of Bach both recorded and live (solo cello) and the choreography is inspired by the spirit of the Baroque. Orff’s Carmina Burana is among the most frequently played 20th century compositions. It may work with medieval texts but the ballet’s message of the wheel of fortune is a timeless hymn to the love of men and women.
